$3 Million MORE from FEMA for Penfield announced
by First Selectman Michael Tetreau.

“Town officials could have given up, settled for less and reopened Penfield with less delay. To do so would, however, have resulted in significantly greater cost to the taxpayers of Fairfield.”

Tetreau credited the successful outcome of the additional reimbursement to the dedication, optimism and perseverance of a team of Fairfield Town Officials, State and Federal Officials.

“The partnership between our town, the state and federal officials was key in us never giving up and working hard to build an iron-clad case on behalf of Fairfield’s citizens,” Tetreau said.
